A few months after joining Pru, I almost got delisted. I was losing focus while my mom was fighting cancer. When she passed, my world stopped.

In that pain, I realized no family should have to go through that kind of financial and emotional burden without a plan. That became my why.

I chose to stay and lean into the support around me. Slowly, my life changed. I even reached milestones I never imagined, like getting my passport and traveling to Japan.

In 2018, a stranger randomly messaged me with a simple question: “Where are you connected now?” My answer was honest and a bit cheeky: “With God.”

That “stranger” eventually became my Branch Manager. We quickly realized we shared the same values, the same heart for service and the same advocacy. I decided to join Pru Life UK and as they say, the rest is history.

Fast forward 5 years: I’ve spent half a decade connecting with and educating people , including my own family on financial freedom. Pru hasn't just given me a career, it has allowed me to travel places and contribute to a mission much bigger than myself.

I am proud to belong to a branch that has a proven system and the integrity to lead people toward their own success. Sometimes, a random message is actually a directed path.

In 2002, I was in survival mode. As a single mother and an OFW, my only goal was to build a concrete house. I didn’t believe in insurance. I thought saving every centavo was enough, not realizing my family’s future was built on sand.

In 2020, my childhood friend Irish, now my Branch Manager, kept inviting me to join Pru Life UK. I was hesitant at first, but I finally made a choice.

Today, I am a Unit Manager leading my own team. With the systems and support of our branch, I now earn an income that matches and even exceeds what I made abroad, while staying at home.

I’ve traded my what-ifs for I can. I’m no longer an absent provider. I’m a present mother, a financial leader, and a woman who changed her destiny.

As a nurse married to a doctor, we lived with the illusion of stability. We were used to saving lives, not needing saving.

But something changed. Even after my husband’s kidney transplant, when I was exhausted and went back to bedside nursing, my income didn’t stop.
